HITTING her husbands parents? and then the husband letting it go? he sounds like a straight up bum to me! only weak men could ever do such a thing! May Allah subana wa ta'ala grant her jannah inshaallah (ameen) and she's right, may he deal with him! I also happened to write about respecting one's parents (from different point of view, but anyway) and according to several hadiths, it should be one of our major concerns. Thanks for this reminder, sister!Vanamohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14395282496709995801noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3682518354164850506.post-88027714949269045782010-07-23T13:34:25.263-07:002010-07-23T13:34:25.263-07:00Assalamu'alaikum!

There are so many reminders in Islam about the sacrifices of a mother.

I remembered a story while I was reading your post...and unfortunately I can't remember every detail, nor can I find it online! Maybe you may know it or someone else.

I remember hearing a story of a boy who killed his mother and was taking her heart somewhere. I can't remember all of the details and if even this part is correct. In the story the boy fell and his mother's heart cried out, "Are you alright my son?" It was a story to emphasize the love a mother has for her child.Shttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18036844048618415438noreply@blogger.com
