Dieing in a State of Tawheed and the Golden Rule

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

I get a hadith sent to me every friday, and this was today's hadith.
You can sign up for it here.
here's the hadith:
'Abdullah bin 'Amr bin Al-'As radiyAllahu 'anhu said:
The Messenger of Allah salAllahu alayhi wa-salaam said, "He who desires to be rescued from the fire of Hell and to enter Jannah, should die in a state of complete belief in Allah and the Last Day, and should do unto others what he wishes to be done unto him."

The true definition of Jihad

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Seriously, how often is the true definition of jihad mentioned?

Jihad (Struggle/Striving) is struggling to earn the favor of God. The greater jihad, "al-Jihad al-Akbar", is the struggle against the evil within one's own soul. The lesser jihad, "al-Jihad al-Asghar", is where one fights on the battlefield in defense of his religion when attacked.

Allah (swt) says in the Qur'an:
"Invite (all) to the Way of thy Lord with wisdom and beautiful preaching; and argue with them in ways that are best and most gracious: for thy Lord knoweth best, who have strayed from His Path, and who receive guidance.
And if ye do catch them out, catch them out no worse than they catch you out:
But if ye show patience, that is indeed the best (course) for those who are patient.
And do thou be patient, for thy patience is but from Allah; nor grieve over them: and distress not thyself because of their plots.
For Allah is with those who restrain themselves, and those who do good."
{Surah An-Nahl: 125-128}
