Mabroook ya Masr!!!

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

Ya Allah! AlhamduLilah! We won!

As you guys know i am and Egyptian/American, and since i live here in the U.S of A, my family keeps Aljazeera news on most of the day to see whats going on. I am so proud of the egyptians for standing up for their rights, and doing it peacefully, and i wish i was there with them. We made history!! I really couldn't believe it when Omar Solieman announced that Mubarak left, but it happened with the help of Allah swt.

One thing i've always seen in most egyptians is that they are very very stubborn!! And alhamduLilah, it came in handy. After 18 days straight of protests, families leaving their homes and spending the whole time at tahrir square, even sleeping there. After the loss of hundreds of lives, and thousands of Egyptians injured at the hands of merciless police and thugs leashed by the regime, after 30 years of an unfair ruler, they did it, they were victorious, mashAllah.

The most beautiful scenes from the protests:

Christians protect Muslims while they pray

Protester praying in Tahrir Square
